I am a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and the founder of The Heart ND. I seek to empower my patients to activate their body’s natural ability to heal. I graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR.
Before becoming a doctor I was an elementary school teacher because I was drawn to teaching children about the world around them. I trained at Bank Street College of Education in New York City. Now, as a doctor, I combine my teaching skills and my medical training to guide clients through the journey of health. 

One of the 6 principles of naturopathic medicine is Docere, which is Latin for to teach. 

 Educating my clients is at the center of my practice.
